
Slocable Solar PV 3 to 1 Branch Connectors
These MC4 type branch connectors allow three PV strings to be connected together in parallel.
They are sold in male and female pairs.
Note: if you use 3 to 1 branch connectors then you need to fit a 15 amp fuse on each PV string before the 3 to 1 connector.
If this is used with our React pump you must also fit a 25 amp fuse after the DC breaker and before the React Pump. This ensures that if you have a short in either a PV panel or in the React Pump that the wiring and MC4 fittings will be protected from high short circuit currents.
Note: if wiring your own system in NZ, you can do so for voltages up to 120 VDC (ELV) if you have suitable knowledge and experience. For LV systems (>120 VDC) this is prescribed electrical work and it must be done by a licenced electrician.
