The Classic is approved for use with PowerSpout hydro turbines only when installed as per our guide.  

The Classic is a versatile large sized charge controller. Ideal for renewable energy systems. It comes in 3 voltage ranges 150V, 200V and 250V (select from drop down).

  • For ELV off-grid solar PV installs most clients will used the 150V classic. 
  • For ELV off-grid hydro installs most clients will used the 150V classic and PLT40/TRG40 turbines (12/24V battery).
  • For LV off-grid hydro installs most clients will used the 250V classic and PLT80/TRG80 turbines (12/24/48V battery).

The Classics HyperVOC allows up to almost 300V (250V Classic) input without damage.

KEY FEATURES:

  • MPPT Tracking for solar PV and hydro
  • Up to 150/200/250V input options
  • MidNite's HyperVOC extends the input voltage beyond 150 VOC 
  • Up to 96 amps battery output depends on configuration
  • Battery Temp Sensor (MNBTS) included 
  • Keypad for access to extensive menu items and set points
  • Built in Arlington, WA USA
