This robust and corrosion resistant wire has many applications in renewable energy applications. 

In ELV renewable energy systems is it common practice to protective earth all metal cases of PCE’s (power conversion equipment).

Note that LV PCE protective earth is prescribed electrical work in NZ.

Note that ELV battery pole earth (if needed) requires a much larger earth conductor, this wire is not suitable.

    Note: if wiring your own system in NZ, you can do so for voltages up to 120 VDC (ELV) if you have suitable knowledge and experience. For LV systems (>120 VDC) this is prescribed electrical work and it must be done by a licenced electrician.
